Pine Released Mugshot Record Limits
A booking photo is one field associated with an arrest or correctional record. Minnesota Chapter 13 governs the underlying government data, and Minn. Stat. section 13.82 classifies law-enforcement data. That framework does not justify claiming that every photo must be released in every case or remain online forever. Active-investigation, juvenile, victim, security, sealing, and other rules may restrict access.
Pine County's live roster includes headshots for people currently reported as incarcerated. It is not a historical release gallery. Once a name drops from that PDF, the photo may no longer be available at the same URL, even though the sheriff may still maintain a booking record. Disappearance can also mean transfer or a correction, so it is not proof of community release or expungement.
No Pine policy was found that guarantees permanent post-release publication. No applicable Minnesota anti-pay-to-remove law was identified in the research. The sound route is to ask the responsible public office for a specific photo and allow it to apply Chapter 13 to the request.
Where Pine Release Mugshots Appear
The proper channel depends on who created the photo and whether the person remains within that agency's published coverage. A Pine-only jail booking and a state-prison record are not interchangeable. Federal custody adds a third system.
| Official channel | Photo availability | How to access |
|---|---|---|
| Pine current jail roster | Headshot shown for current entries | Open the roster from the official jail page; no released tab exists |
| Pine Sheriff records | May hold the requested booking image | Submit a narrow records form with identity and booking details |
| Minnesota DOC viewer | Front and side images appear on covered details | Search a person still under DOC jurisdiction |
| MCRO and Pine court | Useful for case identity and disposition, not a routine photo source | Use case details to support the correct booking request |
| BOP or USMS records | Separate federal records process | Use the responsible federal agency; do not expect a Pine jail image in the BOP locator |
| Official press release | May retain an incident image | Read its date and context; verify custody elsewhere |
VINELink may display custody information that the jail supplies, but Minnesota's published fact sheet does not promise a durable released-photo archive. News and commercial archives may preserve a copy, yet they are not authoritative custody sources. No commercial mugshot or data-broker link is needed to use the official paths.
Pine Jail Roster Photo Window
The official Pine County Jail page links one PDF named Inmate Roster. Its fields include name, booking or inmate number, charges, age, race, gender, held-for agency, arrest date, arresting agency, bond or bail information, and an embedded headshot. It also carries a report timestamp. These are current-custody fields, not release fields.
The PDF has no actual release date, release reason, destination, discharge status, projected date, or released-person filter. Pine County publishes no official 24-hour or 72-hour released-photo view. The county-hosted document-center PDF is an old snapshot and must not be labeled current.
The official Pine County jail-page capture shows the interface readers actually reach.
Its roster link proves the available current-custody route, but it does not create a released-inmate photo archive.
No official Pine Sheriff jail-information or inmate-lookup mobile app was found. Everbridge, social links, JailATM, and phone-service links do not substitute for one. A missing app is significant because no mobile channel can be offered as a hidden photo source.
Request a Pine Booking Photo
The Pine County Sheriff records-request form is the direct route after the current roster stops showing a person. Make the request narrow enough for staff to identify the correct booking. Inspection is marked as no charge. A fee may apply for copies, but Pine publishes no fixed booking-photo price, copy rate, retention period, or guaranteed turnaround.
- Open the Pine County Sheriff records-request form and select inspection or copies.
- Provide the person's full name, date of birth, booking date or range, and incident or case number when known. Add the relevant location or incident type.
- Ask for the public booking photograph plus booking number, admission date and time, actual release date and time, manner of release, and receiving agency if public.
- Request a fee estimate before copies are made. The form promises a response within a reasonable time, not a fixed number of days.
- Send the form to Pine County Sheriff's Office Records, 635 Northridge Drive NW, Suite 100, Pine City, MN 55063, by the listed email or fax.
Requester contact fields are generally optional unless staff needs them to clarify the request or send copies. Access to private data about oneself requires photo identification. Access to another person's private data requires signed authorization. Those rules do not prevent asking for the public portion of a specific booking file.
Note: Ask the sheriff to identify any legal basis for withholding a photo or field rather than assuming all booking-file content is public.
Pine Photo Copies Outside Agencies
A dated archive or news story may retain a booking image after the official live roster changes. Such a copy can help identify the source record and approximate date, but it cannot prove present custody, the legal basis of release, or current case status. A sheriff press release is still incident-specific, not a released-person gallery.
Commercial roster or mugshot archives are secondary sources. They may omit corrections, preserve an old status, or fail to show that a case was dismissed or sealed. No commercial aggregator URL belongs in the official lookup path. When an older image is found, compare the name, booking number, date, agency, and court case against the sheriff record and MCRO.
Federal records require another distinction. The BOP locator is designed to show federal custody and release status and should not be assumed to display a Pine County booking photograph. A USMS pretrial person housed at Pine County Jail may never become a sentenced BOP prisoner. The holding jail, federal docket, and responsible agency record identify the correct image source.
Pine Mugshots After Expungement
Minnesota expungement seals a judicial record rather than destroying it. A sealed case may disappear from public MCRO access while officials retain access as law allows. That change does not automatically describe what happens to every image copied or published before sealing. The source of each copy must be addressed separately.
Current law permits automatic expungement for certain dismissed, exonerated, and listed conviction matters, while petition routes remain under Chapter 609A. Eligibility depends on the disposition, offense, waiting period, and later conduct. The Minnesota Judicial Branch expungement guidance and the Tenth District Self-Help Center provide the official process path.
For an official Pine source, give the sheriff or court the sealing order and identify the exact URL or record. Ask which classification and retention rule applies. For an inaccurate DOC photo or identity field, use DOC's formal data challenge process. No researched Minnesota law supports promising instant deletion or a blanket result across all copies.
Pine State Release Mugshots
The Minnesota DOC public viewer is the photo route for people under state corrections jurisdiction. An incarcerated detail can include front and side DOC photographs, MNDOC ID, name history, birth date, facility, sentence data, offense, county, and court file. A person under supervision may remain visible, while final discharge can remove the public record from coverage.
The official DOC viewer accepts first and last name or a complete six-digit MNDOC ID. Name searches use prefix matching and may return former or alternate names, so compare the photo and other identifiers before drawing any conclusion. A DOC image is not the same as a Pine County Jail booking photo.
The manifest image from the official Minnesota DOC viewer captures the state search form used to reach those details.
Open the full person record and confirm current status before treating any displayed image as part of a current correctional record.
Match Pine Booking Photo Identity
A photo match should be supported by record fields. Pine's live roster supplies the person's name, booking or inmate number, age, race, gender, held-for agency, arrest date, arresting agency, charge description, and bond or bail data. Some charge lines use a broad phrase such as “Arrest of Adult.” That phrase alone does not identify the underlying case or disposition.
Use MCRO Case Details to compare court location, charges, warrant flags, bond activity, plea, disposition, sentence, and case events. Search by first and last name, trying the exact form with and without a middle name or initial. MCRO also allows a wildcard after at least two characters or a Sounds Like search, though both cannot be used together. A known case or citation number is stronger than a name-only match.
A missing name result has limits. Pending criminal matters generally do not appear in defendant-name search until a conviction under the court system's rule. An expunged matter, old nonelectronic file, nonremote case type, retention rule, or spelling difference can also produce no result. Pine Court Administration can route a request for a known file that is not available remotely.
Case data may explain that bond was posted, a count was dismissed, or a sentence was imposed with jail credit. It does not give the exact moment the jail finished physical release. Pair the court result with the sheriff release record so the mugshot, booking, and release event are not collapsed into one unsupported claim.
Correct Pine Release Photo Records
When the image is wrong, misidentified, or tied to inaccurate official fields, contact the agency that maintains the record. Give the precise name, booking or MNDOC number, source URL, image description, and supporting order or identity document. A general deletion demand may not tell the agency which maintained record is disputed.
For Pine Sheriff data, use the records office and cite the booking. For state correctional data, the Minnesota DOC Data Accuracy/Completeness Challenge form gives the subject a formal correction path. For court sealing, use the Minnesota Judicial Branch process and provide the resulting order to each official source that still displays the record.
Private copies may follow different policies, and an official correction does not automatically remove every prior copy. No fee-based removal service can guarantee what a Minnesota government office will classify, retain, or publish.
